4 Walks and Hikes for Women in 2023 - Guided Tours
A walk is a gift. And, it's good for you.
According to an article in the NYT, "Researchers examined 196 studies and found that a brisk walk — of at least 11 minutes a day — significantly lowered participants’ risks for heart disease, many kinds of cancer and mortality overall."
Reader, I am sure you have 11 minutes somewhere in your day for a walk. And if you don't, may I suggest that there is something "off" in your life and you need a vacation STAT.
11 minutes? I spend that scrolling around on Instagram which definitely does not lower my risk for cancer.
To be fair, I sometimes struggle to make time to walk. But it makes me feel so good when I do it. I even walk in the rain, a must for those of us in the PNW.
Walk with us this year. It's good for your mind, body, and soul, plus, you'll get to see some of the most beautiful places in the world while you do it.
